Net Worth:
watch it climb

One honest number — everything you own minus everything you owe — and the debts you're already paying down in Debt Payoff are mirrored in automatically, so you never type them twice.

01  What it does

Net worth headline with assets-vs-liabilities composition bar and the two itemised sections
Net worth $2,800 — composition bar on top (Assets $13,000 / Owe $10,200), with the two sections itemised below.

02  The layout, top to bottom

One scrollable screen, stacked in this order:

  1. Composition split-bar — pinned at the top: Assets vs Owe, with a legend (Assets $13,000 / Owe $10,200).
  2. “Net worth: $2,800” headline, with a ↑ X% this month badge Premium.
  3. Saving $/month projection input.
  4. What you own & owe — your own entries.
  5. Debts (from Debt Payoff) — read-only here.
  6. Trend over time — the chart.

03  Add an asset or liability

Tap + Add asset or liability and fill:

FieldMeansExample
NameWhat it is“Savings”
TypeAsset or LiabilityAsset
AmountCurrent value / balance$8,000
CategoryCash, investments, property…Cash

The type toggle is Asset / Liability — there's no “Debt” option here, because the debts you're actively paying down come from the Debt Payoff tracker on their own.

04  Two sections, not one list

What you own & owe

Your own assets and your non-payoff liabilities. Tap a row to edit it inline; tap to delete (with a confirm). Assets show + name $amount in lime; liabilities show − name $amount in red.

ItemValue
+ Savings$8,000
+ Brokerage$5,000
− Owe a friend$500

Debts (from Debt Payoff)

Every debt from the Debt Payoff tracker is mirrored in here automatically. These rows are read-only — each taps through to the Debt Payoff tracker to edit. Caption: “Edit these in the Debt Payoff tracker.”

ItemValue
− Credit Card$6,000
− Store Card$2,500
− Car Loan$1,200
What goes where

Paying it down on a plan (credit cards, loans)? → Debt Payoff (it shows up here automatically). Just owe it with no payoff plan (mortgage, taxes, money owed to a person)? → Net Worth.

Active payoff debts live in the Debt Payoff tracker and appear here on their own — you don't (and shouldn't) re-type them here. They're mirrored in by id, not by name, so renaming a debt never breaks the link, and a manual entry you happen to name the same will not be merged — it would just count twice.

05  Do the math

SectionItemValue
What you own & owe+ Savings$8,000
What you own & owe+ Brokerage$5,000
What you own & owe− Owe a friend$500
Debts (from Debt Payoff)− Credit Card$6,000
Debts (from Debt Payoff)− Store Card$2,500
Debts (from Debt Payoff)− Car Loan$1,200
Net worth$2,800

Assets $13,000 − liabilities $10,200 ($500 owed to a friend + $9,700 of payoff debt) = $2,800.

06  Watch it climb

Net worth trend-over-time line chart climbing month over month
The trend chart shows the bar + legend only — saving and paying down debt make the line rise. The itemised breakdown lives in the two sections above, not inside the chart.
Projection

Enter Saving $/month and the app projects where you'll be in a year. At +$500/mo that's ≈ $8,800 in a year. Update your balances monthly to keep the line moving.
